I gave away dozens of those CDs.
Edward Heath was a liar and he had one idea - to deliver us into a massive United States of Europe. He thought that Britain was ungovernable and that the Trades Unions would soon take over and we would go Communist.Julia Gasperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13295592860919659533noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6693950082152211516.post-66597282328061265372013-01-10T18:29:47.561+00:002013-01-10T18:29:47.561+00:00Thanks for the Calling England reference, I'd ...Thanks for the Calling England reference, I'd never heard of this blog before, it's a good (if not sad) one.

P.S. please change your CAPTCHA to a mathematical one!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6693950082152211516.post-68017005958172132612013-01-10T18:23:04.289+00:002013-01-10T18:23:04.289+00:00There's a hell of a lot of evidence for it. The page I originally linked to was removed and the message has changed over time - I left it up to show that the internet is not as free as we would like to wish. It's an old post, from 2010 so I'm glad that more and more people are picking up on it now :)GoodnightViennahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15028146701684804650noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6693950082152211516.post-11602674439636202362013-01-10T08:38:58.267+00:002013-01-10T08:38:58.267+00:00Good piece TBF, but you have your dates wrong...
...Good piece TBF, but you have your dates wrong...

All this shit was going on in 1970-1972 when Heath was trying to get the UK into the EEC in the first place.

In the CONservative party manifesto, Heath also stated that it was his intention to negotiate terms for our entry into the "common market", there was no mention of actually joining. Further down the line, he stated that terms had been agreed and that there would be a debate, but in any vote, a substantial parliamentary majority would be required to actually accede.

Well, bearing in mind that the CONservatives had an inbuilt majority of 38 (I think), and the 1972 ECA was passed with a majority of 8 (he couldn't even persuade his own party), which was hardly a substantial majority.

This just represents another reason why our so-called democracy does not serve our interests, our representatives that took us in...

...represented a MINORITY... Even then!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6693950082152211516.post-33305189112800178442013-01-10T00:56:49.204+00:002013-01-10T00:56:49.204+00:00Obama can mind his own business.Obama can mind his own business.Budgienoreply@blogger.com
