Football Thuggery

Whatever you do, don't take an inflatable football into Forest Green Rovers' ground otherwise you can expect "the Treatment" from the stewards...

Stewards at Forest Green ejected a Grimsby Town fan from the ground before kick off - apparently for playing with an inflatable football.
Several people - including at least six stewards were seen to physically eject the man from the ground, and one appeared to have him in a headlock.

    3. You said "your PM". Cameron is the Prime Minster of the UK, that doesn't mean he represents me personally.

And I can't work out what the Ukraine has to do with Forest Green Rovers, inflatable footballs or indeed this post in general.

  3. The possession of a black anorak and a high vis waistcoat with some 'official' title stencilled on the back now gives one the right to inflict physical violence on anyone who does not behave as one thinks appropriate. Welcome to 21st century Britain. Your rights, and the law, now depend upon the whim of whatever paid thug you happen to be at the mercy of, but that's all right because 'it's for your safety'.

  4. Strangler by day, bouncer by night. Woe betide the 16 year old who has one too many when he is about.

    1. Aye...now making the national media and it looks like the stewards are engaging in a process of backside covering:

‘The steward said I spat at him and went to headbutt him but I didn’t. All they need to do is watch the CCTV. I just wouldn’t give him my ball.’

And going by the numerous eyewitness accounts on forums and twitter I don't believe the stewards for one minute...
