One shouldn't mock...in a restrained way. Let it all out, after all it's Monday. After what appears to be trying to use every legal trick in the book to get off, he faced no choice but to change his plea at the last minute. He has to be facing a jail sentence.
One has to say that with 'hell have no fury...' Huhne's ex wife has set the bar somewhat higher...
Yes, Huhne married a very smart woman. Not many ex-wives succeed in gaoling their husbands for infidelity. Vicky Pryce, an economist, has always been opposed to the single currency by the way. Greek by birth, she went on TV and when asked "Is it fair to blame Greeks for being spendthrifts who don't pay their taxes?" she replied "Yes, it's completely fair, it is true."

ReplyDeleteHmm, I remember Mary Archer mocking Edwina Currie for her choice of man (John Major, for those young enough not to know or old enough not to remember!). I feel that those two ladies could comfortably share thoughts with Vicky Pryce.

ReplyDeleteThis is how you tell who is in and who is out amongst the establishment. If he was flavour of the month, one of these tricks would have been accepted.
