As of today, I'm now officially standing as a local candidate for UKIP in my ward. A UKIP candidate has never stood here before, so it'll be interesting to see what response I'll get. So far the local issues seem to be litter, anti-social behaviour and, slightly oddly, Libya
TBF, best wishes. I hope you make a difference.
ReplyDeleteThanks very much for your best wishes jic.
ReplyDeleteGood for you. Here's wishing you every success.
ReplyDeleteStanding for the first time myself this time around. Best of luck Mr Frog.

Many thanks Val for your wishes.
ReplyDelete@Anon, And to you too, are you standing for UKIP as well?
Want a hand leafleting?

ReplyDeleteBest wishes. I would like to become a UKIP candidate but I work shifts so it is impractical. Used to be a Tory party member but cancelled. Really want to piss euroslime Cameron off. Not that he would notice a prole like me.
ReplyDelete@the specialone, Thanks very much.
ReplyDeleteJust a quick point regarding being a UKIP candidate; you can stand as a paper candidate only i.e. not do anything. This helps by diverting resources away from neighbouring wards becasue they don't know if you're serious or not, and also by helping bump up the numbers regarding local candidates which increases UKIP election broadcasts - the more candidates we get the more air time we get.
It's too late now to stand for the locals (finished today at 12), but if you're interested in the future, drop me a line and let me know.
